This device really does get the drain line quite clear and is easy to use. While there are other ways to clear the drain line, this device was very helpful and a good value. My VNA hadn’t seen it and really liked it as well. And for anyone reading this know you are not alone in this all too common journey we women travel!

Useful, effective tool to strip surgical drain tubes. I've been using mine for a week or so and it's working perfectly. I had initial concerns about the durability of the plastic hinge, but so far it's held up marvelously. Seems expensive for a complex bit of plastic but no regrets here, would definitely recommend.
I got the Tube-Evac after a double mastectomy. Having no experience with surgical tubes, my husband and I were very apprehensive of how to “strip” my drains. This tool took the guess-work out of it.
