Data Deletion
You can ask Mended Wing Recovery to delete the personal information we hold about you at any time. This applies to information from our online store, our Recovery Registry (registry.mendedwingrecovery.com), and our advertising on Facebook and Instagram.
How to request deletion
Email Support@Mendedwingrecovery.com with the subject line Data Deletion Request. Include the email address you used with us (for orders, your account, emails, or a registry) so we can find your information.
We will confirm that we received your request, may ask you to verify that the email address is yours, and will complete the deletion within 30 days. We will email you when it is done.
What we delete
- Your customer account and saved addresses
- Your contact details and email subscriptions
- Any Recovery Registry you created, including its gift list, help calendar and shipping address
- Information about you received through our Facebook and Instagram advertising
Recovery Registry
You can delete your registry yourself at any time: sign in at registry.mendedwingrecovery.com, open your registry, go to Settings, and choose Delete this registry. Registries are also deleted automatically 6 months after the surgery date.
What we may keep
We may keep records of past orders, such as what was purchased, the amount paid and taxes collected, where the law requires us to keep them for tax and accounting purposes. These records are not used for marketing.
Facebook and Instagram
Deleting your information with us does not delete information that Meta holds in your Facebook or Instagram account. You can manage that in your Facebook settings under Your activity off Meta technologies.
